I was crazy excited for this tour and the meet and greet with Arch Enemy was a must for me, because I was going to see a friend from years back before she joined Arch Enemy, Lauren Hart. I purposely made it a point to be last in line for the signing session. I got half way to the signing table and Lauren Hart looks up, sees me and yells, Timebag Terrell is here! I got to the table and she stood up leaning toward me with her arms out and we both got big hugs! First question fr

I was excited about this show to begin with but, with Italy's own Frozen Crown opening on this tour, for their first time in the US, now I am crazy excited! I discovered them in 2019 and bought their second album, Crowned In Frost and hoped that one day I would see them live. That day came Friday 9-11-2026 with Kamelot’s 2026 US tour. I walked into the Summit Music Hall and headed straight for the stage, what I was seeing on stage blew me away! On the left side were the keybo

It has been 8 years since Dimmu Borgir toured the U.S. and I was crazy excited to have the opportunity to cover their show in Denver. Unfortunately, Swedish melodic death metal band Hypocrisy canceled their entire August 2026 North American run—including their support slot on Dimmu Borgir's "Grand Serpent Rising" tour and their own headline dates, due to unforeseen Visa Issues. Washington’s own Dark Metal band Hulder opened their powerful set with, “A Beacon From Darkened Sk

I was very happy to see Geoff Tate's Operation Mindcrime tour playing the Ogden Theater in Denver this time around. The Ogden holds 500 fans more than the previous venue he played in for years. And it was no surprise the venue was packed for his show. On a side note, I was the only photographer. Returning with Geoff was long time friend Tomas McCarthy along with his wife Clodagh and long time friend James Keegan . I was really happy to see them again, I really enjoyed th

It’s always a great pleasure to be asked by a band's pr to cover their band's show. This past Saturday night I had the great pleasure of covering the final show of The Darkness and what a fun show to witness let alone photograph! Starting the night off was Mark Daly and the Ravens . Opening their set with their new single, “This is Love” started off the night with a great and loud rock and roll sound that the crowd got into right away and set the tone for an evening of soli

I was excited to see Avatar again, It has been over two years since their last tour. This time they would take the stage at the Denver's Fillmore Auditorium which is twice the size than the venue they were at last tour. The capacity of the Fillmore is 3900. I arrived about 30 minutes before doors and the line was down a long block and around the corner. No surprise here! I always enjoy covering a show at the Fillmore, a beautiful venue with 2 rows of large chandeliers, a ver

The volume in the venue was as unreal as the energy poured out from the crowd. I don’t remember a time when I heard a crowd this loud and energized!
