The Media Machine
James Schauer Owner of High speed Media, turned this transit van into a mobile media machine! He started with the vision of putting a mobile office together to shoot content for clients on the go and now that vision is a reality! He designed and developed it to be a mobile content-creating studio. The van is complete with a built-in workstation including a desk, computer monitor, and an office chair perfect for editing. James bought a simple work desk from Amazon and built brackets to bolt it down to the van making it safe to travel. The computer monitor is also from Amazon and is mounted to the desk. The van also has a secured equipment cabinet to keep all of our creative tools safe, along with it doubling as another workstation having a workbench on top. For fun and to keep us motivated on the go James installed a mini fridge stocked with snacks. One of the coolest features of the van is a single jump seat closest to the sliding door to be able to shoot rolling photos and videos.
By using a Jackery 1,000 with Solar Generator power panels that are portable we are able to charge all our equipment in an eco-friendly way on the go. This generator is so nice to use and keeps all of our equipment charged to be able to get the job done.
A lot of people don’t realize that the van has windows all the way around, due to the perforated wrap making it look like all metal panels such as a cargo van. We like this feature of being able to have views from the inside of the mobile office without being able to look in. Creative Auto wrapped the van making it branded to the company, and putting the final touch on our mobile media machine!
