In June of 2022 I had the great pleasure of covering one of the great guitar legends of all time, Carlos Santana. I was a junior in high school when Santana hit the airwaves. That same year Santana played at Woodstock. Here is an interesting note…Santana and his band, which to this day bears his last name, were still up-and-comers in August 1969, when promoter Bill Graham helped get them on the Woodstock bill before they'd even released their debut album.
Decades later, Santana still sells out large arena’s with an amazing show. Looking forward to July 29th and 30th, Santana will be performing at Colorado's own, Red Rocks Amphitheatre. They will be joined by Counting Crows.
